Dr. Jared Stanley is the Principal of Stratton Meadows Elementary School for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Dr. Stanley has served as the Assistant Principal at Stratton Meadows Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year and the Interim Principal for the beginning of the 2024 - 2025 school year before stepping into the Principal role. Prior to coming to D2, he was the Administrator on Special Assignment in a therapeutic day-treatment program in Pensacola, FL. Before leaving the classroom, Jared taught in an inner-city school in Alexandria, Virginia, where he taught multiple content areas. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jared received his Early Childhood and Special Education undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University. After moving to VA, he completed a Master’s in Education degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University (GMU)—later becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Thereafter, he completed his Ph.D. in Education Leadership at GMU, where he is currently a part-time adjunct professor. Finally, he is currently enrolled in Harvard Business School's Certificate in School Leadership and Management program. 

Jared is thrilled to be returning to the Principal role for the 2024-2025 school year and continuing to work alongside the exceptional Stratton Meadows team, striving to build continuity, increase academic rigor, and help students thrive.
